Sadly, we heard this morning about the death of Richard Niyomwungere, age 23, younger brother of our stagiaire Audace Niyonsaba who is currently learning Chibemba at FENZA. We know little apart that his brother died in a car accident in Kigali, Rwanda. Originally from Burundi, the family is still trying to find out how to attend the funerals which will take place in Rwanda.
Let us pray for Audace and his entire family in this painful moment. May the soul of Richard rests in peace.

My prayers and courage to our dear stagiaire and his family during this difficult moment!
Audace Niyonsaba
There is an appointed time for everything. I am in great sadness because of my young brother death. He was a real gift to me. When I look at our life together I can only say: our life is short, a time in which sadness and joy kiss each other. Behind every smile there is a tear and in every embrace there loneliness. But this intimate experience in which every bit of life is touched by a death can point us beyond the limits of our existence. It can do so by making us looking forward in expectation to the day when our hearts will be filled with perfect joy, a joy that no one, even this mere death, shall take away from us. Goodbye my beloved young brother Richard.

What we commit to God, He glorify for His eternal purpose. His will is love to all of us. His ways are not are our ways. Jesus has taught us that “life is eternal,”. Saint Paul further said, “to a believer dearth is a release from the adversities.” May the Almighty God who has called our brother grant him quietness as peacefully rest in the precious hands of our Lord Jesus Christ.
