Oswald Payant – Missionaries of Africa – Southern Africa Province (SAP)

Father Julien Cormier, Provincial of the Americas, informs you of the death of Father Oswald Payant, M. Afr. He died on January 15, 2015, in Sherbrooke (Canada), at the age of 100 years of which 74 of missionary life in Zambia and Canada.

Let us pray for the repose of his soul.

Oswald Payant’s 100th birthday

I’m just back from the celebration of Oswald Payant’s 100^th birthday. He was in a rather good shape, following everything, smiling, praying with the whole community, very happy to see so many of his nephews and nieces and all the guests that were there including a real large number of confreres. Oswald’s birthday took place on the 7^th September on the very day of his birthday.
