\"News.va<\/a>Vatican City, 31 March 2015 (VIS) \u2013 The Holy Father has appointed:\u00a0– Fr. Christophe Amade, M. Afr., as bishop of Kalemie-Kirungu<\/strong> (area 71,577, population 5,950,013, Catholics 3,663,230, priests 100, religious 125), Democratic Republic of the Congo. The bishop-elect was born in Mune, Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1961 and was ordained a priest in 1990. He studied theology at the London Missionary Institute, England, and holds a doctorate in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. He has exercised his pastoral ministry in Funsi in the diocese of Wa, Ghana, and has served as lecturer and subsequently rector of the Consortium of Philosophy in Jinja, Uganda, and lecturer in philosophy at the Consortium of Philosophy in Kumasi, Ghana and at the St. Augustin University, Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is currently provincial superior of the Society of the Missionaries of Africa (\u201cWhite Fathers\u201d) for Central Africa.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Rome, 31 mars 2015 (caritasdev.cd):<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>Le Pape Fran\u00e7ois a nomm\u00e9 le 28 mars 2015 le R\u00e9v\u00e9rend P\u00e8re Jean-Christophe AMADE ALOMA<\/strong>, de la Congr\u00e9gation des Missionnaires d\u2019Afrique, Ev\u00eaque de Kalemie-Kirungu ; l\u2019Abb\u00e9 Jean-Pierre Kwambamba Masi, pr\u00eatre du dioc\u00e8se de Kenge, Ev\u00eaque auxiliaire de Kinshasa et le R\u00e9v\u00e9rend P\u00e8re Donatien BAFUINDISONI MALOKO-MANA, de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de J\u00e9sus, Ev\u00eaque Auxiliaire de Kinshasa. Ces nominations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rendues publiques le 31 mars 2015.\u00a0<\/em>Le nouvel Ev\u00eaque de Kalemie-Kirungu dans la Province du Katanga est n\u00e9 le 18 janvier 1961 \u00e0 Mume, dans l\u2019Ituri, dans le dioc\u00e8se de Mahagi. Apr\u00e8s ses \u00e9tudes primaires et secondaires, l\u2019Ev\u00eaque nomm\u00e9 a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la Philosophie au Grand S\u00e9minaire \u00ab Notre Dame de la Ruzizi des Missionnaires d\u2019Afrique centrale \u00e0 Bukavu de 1973-1979. Il a fait son noviciat \u00e0 Fribourg en Suisse de 1984 \u00e0 1985. Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la th\u00e9ologie \u00e0 London Missionary Institute de 1987 \u00e0 1990.\u00a0 Le 25 juillet 1990, il est ordonn\u00e9 pr\u00eatre. Apr\u00e8s son doctorat en Philosophie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 gr\u00e9gorienne, le P\u00e8re Amade a \u00e9t\u00e9 en 2010 appel\u00e9 comme formateur dans la maison de formation des Missionnaires d\u2019Afrique du Ghana et comme professeur au Coll\u00e8ge Universitaire des Spiritains. Depuis juillet 2014, le P\u00e8re Amade est devenu le Provincial des Missionnaires d\u2019Afrique avec r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Bukavu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 cette nomination comme Ev\u00eaque de Kalemie-Kirungu.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
