First of all to my Lord and Savior who has always given me the graces that I needed to face the many challenges which I met during my various assignments. I wish to thank all my confreres, young and old, for their support and cooperation throughout those years. I also was able to express my gratitude to the local Church communities for their faith and commitment. In recent months I have felt being evangelized by the poor.<\/em><\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>It is time for me to bid farewell to all. Past generations of Missionaries of Africa expected to die and to be buried in Africa; and many of them did so. My own generation has come to terms with the fact being laid to rest in Zambian soil, is no longer a right but a privilege.<\/em><\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>The French say \u201cpartir c\u2019est mourir\u201d. Others may say with Shakespeare \u201cparting is such sweet sorrow\u201d.\u00a0 I leave Zambia with a grateful heart. Shalenipo Umutende.
