In June of the same year, I took over the job of Provincial Secretary from Georges Lauzon. I have also lived for ten years in the Congo before going to Malawi but coming to the capital of Zambia has proved to be a joyful and beneficial change for me. I still think of my first missionary experience in the Congo as being my closest ever experience with people. This sort of encounter is not thinkable in an office like mine today. Venir dans la capitale de la Zambie apr\u00e8s dix ann\u00e9es de mission au Congo, et autant d\u2019ann\u00e9es au Malawi, s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 pour moi un changement heureux et b\u00e9n\u00e9fique. Je me rappelle encore mes premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es missionnaires au Congo. Ce fut pour moi l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de la plus grande proximit\u00e9 jamais v\u00e9cue avec une population. Aujourd\u2019hui, ce genre de rencontre n\u2019est plus r\u00e9alisable dans mon service.
