Company director of government and industry affairs Philip Lemba said the airline has plans to start flying to <strong>Lubumbashi<\/strong>, from Ndola, with connections between <strong>Ndola<\/strong> and <strong>Lusaka<\/strong>. Mr Lemba said the airline is also considering services to <strong>Harare<\/strong>, <strong>Dar es Salaam<\/strong>, <strong>Mozambiques\u2019sTete<\/strong> town and <strong>Johannesburg<\/strong>, subject to regulatory approval.<\/i><\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><i>\u201cWe believe that after years of prudent [and] steady growth, Proflight Zambia has now built a solid base to reach a critical mass from which it can expand into regional markets, heeding the requests of our customers.<\/i><\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><i><a title=\"Proflight\" href=\"http:\/\/mafrsouthernafrica.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/proflight-boeing.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2677 alignright\" alt=\"Proflight-Boeing\" src=\"http:\/\/mafrsouthernafrica.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/proflight-boeing.jpg?resize=271%2C180\" width=\"271\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mafrsaprovince.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/proflight-boeing.jpg?w=451&amp;ssl=1 451w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mafrsaprovince.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/proflight-boeing.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 271px) 100vw, 271px\" \/><\/a>\u201cLusaka is a natural choice as a hub, and Proflight is determined to be a standard bearer for Zambian aviation throughout the region,\u201d he said.<\/i><\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><i>Mr Lemba said in a statement in Lusaka recently. He said with the introduction of the Malawi route, Proflight currently operates 10 scheduled routes using nine aircraft, and a 105-seat Boeing 737 aircraft which was just added to the Proflight fleet as the airline\u2019s first jet aircraft.<\/i><\/span><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align:justify;\"><i><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Mr Lemba said the airline is keen to introduce flights to Johannesburg from Lusaka and is examining the option of flying into South Africa city\u2019s smaller airport, Lanseria, whose costs are lower than that of the city\u2019s main OR Tambo (ORT) International Airport.
