He was living in the Diocese of Nottingham when he entered the Noviciate (Spiritual Year) on the 7<sup>th<\/sup> September 1956 in\u2018s-Heerenberg. He then continued his studies of theology in Totteridge, in North London, where he took his Missionary Oath on the 13<sup>th<\/sup> July 1960 and was ordained to the priesthood on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> February 1961. John Michael was better known as Ben.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">In Malawi: 01\/11\/1967; Lilongwe. He entered the Novitiate (Spiritual Year) of the Missionaries of Africa on August 31, 1963 in Franklin, USA.\u00a0He then continued his theological studies at Totteridge (London, UK) where he took his missionary oath on 25<sup>th<\/sup> June 1967.
